A French lawyer at the Paris Bar, Juliette Bril is the partner in charge of Environment, Commercial & Industrial Real Estate and Urban Planning at CastaldiPartners. With over twenty-five years of professional experience, Juliette Bril assists French and international clients with both advice and litigation in all areas of industrial and real estate environmental law, with a comprehensive approach to environmental risks in particular, in the context of acquisitions and disposals of real estate assets or companies.

Career

Juliette Bril has developed recognised expertise in environmental law, assisting companies in a wide range of sectors such as automotive, telecoms, retail, logistics, catering and data centres. Juliette also has solid experience in civil, commercial and administrative litigation and has specialised in recent years in the field of renewable energies and ESG issues.

As a consultant for the World Bank, Juliette Bril has participated in legal advisory missions for the governments of Morocco and Algeria. Upon joining CastaldiPartners in 2025, Juliette Bril created the Environment, Commercial & Industrial Real Estate and Urban Planning department along with Sebastien Sehili-Franceschini, Sabrina Achour and Arielle Guillaumot.

  • Advising an international automotive group on the sale of industrial sites with pollution guarantees to the purchaser.
  • Advising a real estate investment fund on the acquisition of a portfolio of logistics buildings under a sale and leaseback agreement.
  • Advising an international data centre group on the acquisition and operation of two data centres (500 MW) with waste heat recovery contracts.
  • Advising an American e-commerce group on the acquisition of logistics sites and data centres.
  • Advising a property development company on the acquisition and redevelopment of industrial sites in France.
  • Advising a telecoms group on the return of leased buildings and the reorganisation of industrial operations.
  • Advising a public agency on the implementation of ESG regulations.
  • Advising an Italian automotive equipment group on the sale of industrial sites.
  • Civil, commercial and administrative litigation relating to pollution, property sales and asbestos surveys.

Speaking Engagements

  • Juliette act as a trainer at Qaliopi training courses: ICPE (Classified Installation for Environmental Control), environmental clauses in sales, waste and renewable energy regulations, energy performance, logistics and data centres.
  • Juliette regularly speeks at conferences on photovoltaic regulations and insurance (AFILOG 2024), biodiversity in France/Europe (IBA 2023), European logistics (World Bank, New Delhi 2019).
