Lawyer at the Venice bar, Fabio Moretti has been General counsel of major companies and multinationals for about 25 years. Over the years, he has gained experience and expertise in the field of IP and negotiation of complex contracts, especially in the luxury and fashion sectors and in the world of art. He is president of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia and of the National Conference of Presidents of the Academies. He is secretary general of the Venice Chamber of Arbitration and a member of its Board of Directors.
Career
After having been General Counsel for fashion groups, he was Associate General Counsel Europe Middle East and Africa for IBM. He then went on to work as a free-lance lawyer assisting also very important fashion and luxury brands in international matters. He is a member of the executive committee and head of the national committees of the Union International des Avocats, where he founded and coordinated the international fashion law commission.
